to produce a safe, highly visible, and durable crosswalk
delineator. Not only does the sign bring attention to the pedestrian crossing
area but it also slows down traffic.
At the backbone
of the system is Impact Recovery's Flexible Sign Post. It also
features a heavy duty spring mechanism which will endure multiple impacts,
returning the signs to the vertical position time after time. The weighted
base is made from recycled tires, which saves you money and will
help save the environment for future generations.
The polyethylene
sign panels are a durable, environmentally friendly product. They remain
flexible and withstand temperatures from -70 to 260 F. They also reduce
liability when compared to using metal or wooden signs. The panels
are made of 40 to 70% post-consumer recycled plastic resins.
Covering the panels are 3M reflective sheeting, featuring the new Fluorescent
Yellow/Green which has been tested and proven to increase driver
awareness of the impending pedestrian areas.
The unit itself is very easy to construct and take apart with the Quick-Release
System. Changing or repairing devices takes less than 10 seconds.
To remove the device, simply pull the keeper pin and rotate the assembly
15 degrees, then lift and remove. That is all there is to it!

different soil conditions. Permanent anchor can be installed with
the use of a hand driver or power equipment. The post is easily
replaced using the existing anchoring system. |
